Astro-med dash ii 2 channel field recorder model mt

We powered on the unit and used the speed controls to check the flow of the paper. This unit can vary from 1 mm/min to 100 mm/sec. We adjusted the feed to several of these settings and it appears that the controls are working correctly. Included with this unit are (2) medium gain amplifiers models ASC-902 which were adjusted to v/div for test. We then set the speed control to 100 mm/min and connected and disconnected the unit to a 12 volt battery several times and let the unit record the event (both channels were tested in this manner). The recorder registered the increase and decrease in voltage on the thermal chart paper. Please refer to the provided pictures for details. Last we adjusted the marker and grid options both of which did very little to the actual printout. We found some item specifications online and have included them below:
* Writing Method: Edge writing on low cost thermal paper
* Frequency Response: Flat to within 1 db (50 mm) at 30 Hz
Flat to within 2 db (10 mm) at 100 Hz
* Linearity: Within 1% of full scale
* Sensitivity: 1 mv/mm to 1 v/mm (13 steps)
* Measurement Range & Max Range Voltage: 50 - 500 volts
Other than powering on the unit and testing the paper feed, no further testing was done to the item. This particular model has power requirements of 120/240 volts, 2/1 amps, and basic 50/60 Hz with a power consumption of 180 watts. Included in this purchase is a detachable 3-prong NEMA 5/15 power cord. This unit could also take a DIN 3-180 11/18 volt DC power supply but the cord was not included with the previous sale so it was not tested. Due to our inability to fully test the recorder, we must sell this item as in working order and as described.
