The MIC 360 is an IN-PROCESS diameter gage that measures internal and external diameters of machined parts up to 100 feet, while they are rotating at speeds up to 360 SFM. Measurement accuracies, traceable to NIST, are +-.0002" on diameters under 12", +-.001" on diameters up to 240", and +-.002 on diameters up to 360". Inspects tapers, grooves. Requires no setting masters.
The gage head assembly rotates around a part and measures the diameter. The versatile gage head comes with either standard 1-1/4" square shank or several optional quick change tool shanks that allow it to mount on a variety of machine types such as, vertical or horizontal lathes, mills, and grinders.
The gage head reports the measurement values to the MIC 360 CPU, which calculates and displays diameters readings on the digital readout. The CPU also includes the MIC 360 Diameter and Run out measurement program. This program allows setting the parameters for the gage and monitoring diameter measurements as the part rotates.
