Siemens micromaster 6ES6440-2UC240CA1 5 hp 200-240V
Siemens 440 4KW/5HP AC Drive 200-240 3 phase input. This is an unusual drive setup as it has the encoder interface installed and is wired to a shaft encoder via a 15 ft cable to an actual shaft encoder. Consequenlty it can operate in full closed loop vector control as it is. The shaft encoder has a 5/8 bore and is a Dynapar HS351024844B7 encoder. This is ready to hang on the back end of a 5 hp AC inverter duty motor. The was orginally part of an automation job that was cancelled. The drive was powered up and run briefly with a 5 hp motor to test the software setup on the drive. The drive/encoder interface/and encoder worked perfectly. Since that time it has sat in a box in my air conditioned office. This drive was originally setup to be controlled from a Siemens S7-200 PLC. However that can be changed. This drive/encoder module and encoder are being offered at a fraction of the new price. In fact the shaft encoder was about $450 by itself. This would make a great drive for a machine tool spindle.
