Without the front panel for this unit, testing is difficult. Unit powers itself off when the front panel is open, so to get by this, we had to stick a screwdriver in the door sensor. Once this was done, the unit powered on, but gave a C21 error. We took out the drum, the fuser, and the toner bottle, cleaned the excess toner off of each, and put them back. At that point, the unit became responsive. We loaded it with paper and attempted a copy, however all that came out was a blank piece of paper. The scanner light came on and scrolled across the paper, so that part appears to work. Our guess would be that this unit is having issues with its toner and drum, though we cannot guarantee that these are the only problems.
