Black Box Network Tone Probe is the fastest way to find cables in a crowded punchdown block.
Tones travel up to 2000 feet (609.6 m), depending on whether the cable is a continuous run or if it connects to punchdown blocks, patch panels, or wallplates.
The pen-size Network Tone Probe, an inductive receiver, emits its locator tone when it touches the tip of the wire or even just the jacket.
Use the Network Probe to trace the tone through the cable, wiring bundle, and wiring closet. Locate the other end of the cable when the Network Tone Generator applies a tone through the cable.
