This listing is for 1 new tap in good general condition with only a few very tiny chips near the bottom of the head from storage, as pictured, but these are very very minute or minor. Thread taps are used for cutting threads in holes for screws, bolts, pipe, etc. Size 1 - 11-1/2 NPTF, this is a slightly tapered plug tap, five flutes, HSS, Ni. The head measures 1-7/8" length.
