Powertec OEM II 2S140TB Power Supply
For sale- a Powertec OEM II Model 2S140TB Power Supply. It would appear to offer dual voltage outputs, 5 Volts DC @12A and/or 12 volts @ 3A. It has been mounted in an aluminum shell that allows rack mounting, with a power switch and indicator LED on the front panel. There is a pigtail connector of some sort supplying the output voltages, and I have measured both 5 and 12 volts on it with my cheap Sears VOM. At first I couldn t find a 5 volt output, but it turned out that one of the fuses was blown. Having replaced that it seems to be functional. I have no way of measuring the current available however, and I don t know if it is capable of providing the rated current at both 5 and 12 volts simultaneously.
The rectangular piece of aluminum in the foreground fits over that side of the power supply, I guess to cover the exposed power transistors.
