This is the six-month periodic maintenance kit for the Bunn Ultra-2 frozen beverage machine. You should install this kit every six months of use or after the machine has been stored for a period of non-use. Failure to install this kit will inevitably lead to expensive repairs. There are sufficient parts in each kit to service a two-hopper Ultra machine.
This kit now includes our exclusive six page full-color instruction manual with annotated photos and step-by-step instructions to easily install this important maintenance kit. With our free tools, these great instructions, and toll-free access for help you will save the cost of a technician installing the kit and you will not find a better value anywhere.
You will receive at no additional cost all the tools needed to install this kit. Included in the kit is one 6-in-1 screwdriver with:#1 phillips blade, #2 phillips blade, #1 straight blade, #2 straight blade, 1/4" nut driver and 5/16" nut driver; a bright LED flashlight with batteries; a seal insertion tool; 4 ounces of food grade Lubri-Film lubricant; and a lubricant application brush. With these tools you can: remove the auger motor covers; use the flashlight to check the alignment of the auger shaft split pins to assure they are in the proper position to avoid damaging the torque sensor board; remove the auger motor; remove the front shaft seal and shaft bushing; check the shaft alley with the flashlight for product leakage; properly install the shaft seal; lubricate all seals, bushings, and shaft; and then install the remainder of the kit and reassemble the machine. These tools are the essentials for working on the CDS and Ultra machines and they are yours for free!
The Bunn frozen beverage machines are hearty and reliable beasts - they do a great job, are easy to use, easy to maintain and repair and will last for years and years. But, like every piece of machinery, they require a little maintenance to continue performing well. Installation of the parts in this kit takes about 20 minutes and all you'll need is one screwdriver and we'll provide help for free via our 800 number! We've even updated the included instructions to make installation easier.
