I'm not sure what is the significance of THERMOSETTING. However this is expensive tape and I think it is primarily used to wrap coils.
We have had this tape for more than three years and I think this kind of tape has a shelf life. I have opened a box or two and it appears that is still works fine. However, no warranty.
