King Nutronics Portable Dry Well Tmp. calibration 3604A. The unit is in good cosmetic condition, as well as operating condition.
The model 3603-A is a self-contained, light weight, portable dry well temperature calibration system which is capable of generating, controlling, measuring, and displaying the temperature transmitted to temperature devices throughout the range of 100 F to 600 F.
The calibrator is easy to operate, using front panel controls. The testing process is fast, consisting of manually setting the desired test point temperature on a four decade switch then observing the measured temperature on a 16 character digital display. The temperature can be selectivly displayed in either F or C
Maintenance and trouble analysis have been simplified by using modular component assembly techniques, minimai software and an automatic self-test routine. Troubleshooting can be performed without an in-depth knowledge of the internal software and logic functions.

The calibrator can be operated using front panel controls or remotely via an IEEE-488 bus interface. An on-board printer is included to provide hard copy of the test data when desired.

Standardization and calibration of the model 3604-A can be acccomplished automatically through the IEEE bus. The operation is totally hands-off and all test data is printed out on the on-board printer.
The calibrator is furnished in two :configurations. Part number 3604A-1-1 contains four adapter chucks selected to accommodate industrial applicafions. Part number 3604A-1-1O1 has twelve adapter Dhucks specifically designed to U.S. Navy requirements. This is the only difference between the part numbers.
