reverse osmosis, 55,000 gpd, for lakes and streams

This Clean Water Products model 2104 is the largest four inch diameter reverse osmosis water purification units developed and patented by hydrologist Dr. C. Brent Cluff, retired civil engineering professor from the University of Arizona. Larger eight inch versions are available which will make 250,000 gallons per day of purified water.
The CWP 2104 has a 7.5 hp motor, 220 volt, single phase, (we can configure it alternatively upon request) Both 50 hertz and 60 hertz models are available. For more mineralized water the 7.5 HP version for provides sufficient pressure. For less mineralized water the 7.5 hp keeps up with higher production obtained with the high production membranes that are now available. For lower mineralized water production will be more than 55,000 gallons per day. The pump pressurizes the water to 160 PSI and pushes it through 21 (ea) 4" x 40" reverse osmosis membranes. There are 7 reinforced fiberglass housings, each with 3 membranes. The unit has three stages. There are 4 housings in the first stage, 2 housings in the second stage and 1 housing in the third stage. The resulting water is bottled-water quality, depending upon the quality of the water going it. It has 2 (ea) 4" x 20" five-micron sediment pre-filters that the feed water passes through prior to the RO. If you are operating in a chlorinated water situation (city or municipal water) we will put activated charcoal filters in these "big blue" prefilter housings to remove the chlorine and protect your membrane investment.
There are two CWP 2104 systems that has been providing purified water for the Desert Diamond Casino on Pima Mine Rd near Tucson since the spring of 2008. The water quality has been improved dramatically. Savings have been made in culinary water for the restaurents, drinking fountains and bathrooms as well as air conditioning units. The use of extensive hand labor to shine glasses has been elimininated. Maintenance has been minimal. With two units, one is used to operate the second one to provide occasional washing to remove clay. The catalytic conditioner prevents calcium carbonate scaling so acid washing is not needed.
The CWP 2104 has a patented combination with a catalytic conditioner so that no chemicals are needed. For lake water, municipal wastewater or wells with clay it is recomended to use a slowsand filter which is a part of the CWP patented process. The slowsand or biological filter not only removes clay but causes carbon dioxide to form which enhances the operation of the catalytic conditioner. It is a impressive low maintenance combination.
The price for the CWP 2104 is FOB Tucson and if you provide your zip code, we will give you a quote on the freight. The CWP 2104 is 132 inches long, 30" wide and 46" tall. The steel frame is mounted on rubber wheels for easy loading and unloading.
The CWP 2104 not only removes arsenic, but also, pesticides, herbicides, bacteria, viruses and all other impurities at the molecular level. A recent purchaser of this model was a company that made tea.
