The power section of the field converters consists of a semi-controlled single-phase bridge for TPea 1B, a totally controlled single-phase bridge for TPey 2B and +FC.., a totally controlled single-phase non-parallel double bridge for TPey2 4B . The field converters are used for a mixed regulation with constant torque and power, for the constant field regulation and/or for a speed adjustment of non-parallel armature-connected motors. All field converters are protected against voltage peaks. The signals and commands are connected to the terminal strip in TPea 1B, are internally performed in the ..+FC version and are transmitted via a flat cable and X connector in TPey2.
