Using one chart, you can easily find the correct tool cutting angles and the proper cutting speeds for any of 22 different materials. Cutting speeds for the "Slow-Speed Universal" edition provides 16 rounded spindle speeds, matching most older and/or larger metal lathes. This is the chart we recommend for all South Bend Metal Lathes. All cutting speeds are COLOR CODED for ease of use.
