This beautiful 1964 Diplomat Fountain Soda Dispenser made by the Cornelius Co is in excellent working condition. A must have for serious Coca Cola collectors. The Cornelius Co. has now been in business for almost 70 years making coolers and beverage dispensers. They manufactured the Diplomat for the Coca-Cola Company from 1962 to 1969. It is classified as an electric, self-contained, over-the-counter soft drink dispenser. As the pictures make clear this fountain is in excellent condition. It contains a working refrigeration unit that was originally advertised as promising ice cold refreshment due to the Cornelius Ice-O-Matic design . The cooling device is self-contained within the machine. The design and illuminated logo originally served as terrific point of sale advertising for Coca Cola. The dispensing unit can be mounted on a counter or bar, taking up a minimum amount of space. The dispenser can serve as many as 4 different products and according to original specifications has a cooling recovery rate of 1 drink per minute. Comes with connector hoses shown. Weight: 110 lbs.
