Designed for use on standard ground rods 5/8" - 7/8" diameter, the large 2 1/2" diameter head provides approximately 6 times more surface area than the ground rod head itself for your hammer to strike. The flat interior helps to minimize "mushrooming" of the ground rod head resulting in easier installation of ground wire clamps etc. The 9 1/2" overall length fits easily in to most tool bags and boxes. Premium safety orange powder coat finish and cushioned grip completes the package, no accessories required. (hammer is not included). Saves time and helps prevent bodily injuries.
