Model 950 Proximity Perfect Mullion Mount Reader, Gray
The GE Model 950 and Model 960 Proximity readers offer the
advantage of contactless technology in an extremely compact
design. Their small size enables flexible, easy installation. Model 950 mounts on a doorframe or mullion. Model 960 mounts on a windowpane or to a glass door.
A single read head can be mounted up to 500 ft. (152.4 m) from the PIU (read range is reduced with distance). A 2-read head configuration allows each read head to be mounted up to 200 ft. (60.9 m) from the PIU. Each reader includes an integral 20 ft. (6.0 m) cable for connecting to the PIU
