For sale is a Vintage Voltmeter.
THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD AS A COLLECTIBLE AND THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS BECAUSE IT DOESN T WORK. I DON T KNOW THAT IT DOESN T WORK, BUT I DON T KNOW IF IT DOES WORK EITHER. IT IS UNTESTED!!
This is a Weston Volt-Millivoltmeter, model 56 made by the Weston Electrical Instrument Corp; Newark, NJ USA. This machine is No. 3588. All of the dials are in good condition.
It comes in a wooden box as shown. This box measures about 13 x 7 x 5 . There is a strap that goes around 3 sides of the box. One end of the strap has come loose. There is also a place on the strap where it is very worn where it goes around a corner. There are some letters and numbers on the outside and inside of the box in white. They are: ST CLD 264-05. The paper in the lid of the box is dated Nov 13, 1952.
