This tool features Komet's modular/interchangable ABS tooling system with CAT50 shank ABS50 driver A52 10350 and 12mm diameter ABS H expanding chuck A32 42140 for holding drills, reamers, endmills, etc. with 12mm shanks.
* Adapter sleeves can be used to clamp several shank diameters with one expanding chuck. Sleeves are readily available from Komet.

Features of ABS H Expanding Chucks:
* The ABS H variation is designed for use where greater concentricity is required and is fully compatible with the ABS standard modular program. During the clamping operation ABS H design compensates for play in the connection.
* Maximum long-term concentricity and repeatability of < 0.003 mm (.00012").
* Internal central coolant delivered onto the cutting edge
* Excellent vibration damping for better surfaces - vibrations occurring during the machining process are reduced via the hydraulic system.
* Reduces chipping of tool cutting edge and increases service life of tools - often more than a fourfold increase

* High dimensional accuracy and machining quality on the workpiece
* Rapid tool changing without peripheral equipment - Simply insert the tool into the hydraulic expansion toolholder, then tighten the clamping screw up to the stop using the Allen key done.
