New Lincoln K870-1 Start Pedal Foot Amptrol. 25-ft cord. This is the deluxe model of their 6-pin K870 standard TIG control. Features an adjustable heel rest as well as their "start pedal" which you can see in the picture. All it is is a snap-on function for the contactor. You press down the toe area and it snaps down prior to the entire pedal pivoting. The idea was that it makes it easier to start the contactor without increasing your amps accidentily. You can also come all the way up to your lowest amp setting and be sure that you don't accidentily start the post-flow process. It's a good pedal, but the standard Lincoln pedal does the same thing. Also, Lincoln didn't spend too much time marketing the idea, and eventually took it out of their catalog. That left us with some extra stock, which we are selling off here until they're gone. List price was around $270. Yes, it's a discontinued item, but we're the manufacturer and so you can call us directly for warranty issues, repairs, or replacement parts.
