This listing is for 1 new tap in good general condition with only some very minor dirtiness from tooling storage cabinet, as seen. Thread taps are used for cutting threads in holes for screws, bolts, pipe, etc. This tap cuts M24 x 3.0 metric threads. The head (where the cutting occurs) measures about 2-1/4" length and the entire tap measures 6-1/16" overall length. Features three flutes. Shaft is 3/4" diameter with an 9/16" square end.
