New 40626 power pnp germanium transistor to-3 5A 50V 2
in a TO-3 case rated at 5A, 50V, 12W, 500khz with a gain of 90 at 1A.
Date code on these is 7809. The 40000 series of transistors was developed
by RCA and is a standard number found on handbooks. These are ideal for
replacement output transistors in vintage audio equipment like KLH and
Heathkit. These are from my old stock when I had a audio repair shop in
the late seventies, and I used a lot of them.
