Honeywell hf-1 lisn / power line impedance network
This a LISN that is in good shape, and which is used for testing equipment in a EMI or EMC lab.
LISN stands for Power Line Impedance Stabilization Network, and it is a type of filter that lets your isolate noise that the item under test is creating instead of noise form the power line entering the equipment. It is a huge filter, and it is quite valuable.
I removed the cover so that you can see that the main coiled are not charred or burned like is seem a-n many used LISN's that you see for sale.
You can also see in one of the pictures the stranded wire used for the coils that make a huge difference in performance.
It is a really good investment for somebody starting a EMI/EMC Lab and it could save you a good chunk of cash.
