The Recon Bluetooth Kit with the Socket Bluetooth Compact Flash card allows wireless communications (within a range of up to 10 meters) between the TDS Recon handheld computer and a variety of peripherals while maintaining the environmental integrity of the Recon. With the card installed in either of the Recon's CompactFlash slots, the CF Cap can be secured providing an environmentally sealed package.
The Socket Bluetooth CF card allows Recon to wirelessly communicate with the following peripheral devices:
* PC's with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless Microsoft ActiveSync data transfer
* Networks through Bluetooth access points
* Any Bluetooth device with OBEX data transfer capabilities
