High current laser diode power supply dual 5V 12V 200W
I am selling my high power laser diode power supply that I use in all my videos on youtube to power my laser diodes. It is a DUAL supply. One output is 5V (trimmable down to 2.5V) and the other is 12V. Both capable of 200W! This power supply will drive up to two laser diodes in series and supply them with 40A of current. You can trim the output voltage down from 5 volts to 2.5 volts if you just need to drive one laser diode or trim the voltage up to account for voltage drop in your circuit. This is made by Vicor and will work on 110V lines as well as 220V lines. No need to build any kind of voltage doubler to make this work! Just plug into your wall outlet! The 12V output is very nice to have for powering TECs, fans, and controller boards!
I use these for my high current laser diodes and they work great! You can control the current with a simple resistor or with a current controller. I will soon be selling compact current controllers that can control current for high power laser diodes as well as low power laser diodes. They will work great with this power supply. Let me know if interested, as I am currently putting them together.
