If you know Niagara Shears - they were built to last, rarely break down and require little maintenance (such as sharpening the blade)! You will get a total of 6 springs, 4 never used and the 2 that were used were last replaced in 1980.
Listing for a local family run picture framing business that has been around since the 1920s. The business had 2 locations, 1 downtown Cleveland and 1 in North Royalton, Ohio. The original Cleveland location was closed when the city turned that area it was located into a restaurant district a few years ago. The North Royalton location is very small and does not have room to set it up and use this shear. The owner used this the large cutter until they moved. It was dissembled into a couple of sections for transport & storage. It's a bit dusty from being stored, but there are no cracks or damage what-so-ever. It comes with 4 extra springs that were never used. It is in excellent condition. If it was not for lack of space, he would not be selling this.
Will fit in the bed of a standard pick up truck no problem. You will need to load it yourself. Estimated weight - 1,000 lbs total? Since its in sections a couple of strong guys will have no problem loading it by hand.
