Viro-Flex Enhanced addresses the problem of hoof warts, which affect one in four highly bred high producing dairy cows. Based on comments by hoof trimmers and dairymen, this problem causes severe loss of production and expensive treatment in the sick pen. One treatment with (Viro-Flex Enhanced) applied on the hoof warts and 6 inches above the warts, resulted in severely immobilized cows being indistinguishable in herd movement from unaffected cows. Normally, cows with wounds and infections tend to exhibit the tendency to lag behind the herd entering the milking parlor. Within two weeks, post-treatment by (Viro-Flex Enhanced), the lagging movement was not evident to the dairymen.
Viro-Flex Enhanced, is plant source oil approved for human consumption in a compounded water resistant cream that should be directly applied on the hoof and leg at the time of hoof trimming. Viro-Fex Enhanced does away with the need for wrapping and use of antibiotic powders and does not require disposal of milk because of possible contamination from medications. There are no steroids used in any of the Viro-Flex products.
Viro-Flex is effective topically against viruses, bacteria, and funguses. Antibiotics which are isolated from funguses are ineffective against viruses, and funguses with some bacteria being resistant to the antibiotic applied. No resistance develops from the repeated use of Viro-Flex.
