It is designed to be used in precision parts inspection and can be used for light machining such as wet or dry surface grinding. It is 2.5 x 2.5 x 6" long overall. It's square, and precision ground. Turn the switch to on to hold the part, off to release the part and anywhere in between for a lighter hold if a strong hold is not needed. This block has a steel side rail and end rail from help in holding parts square. The condition is excellent and an identification number lightly etched into the bottom clearance area.
