Large filtration set up 2000ML glass flask pump buchner
This filtration set-up includes:
* one 2000 ml borosilicate (heat resistant) glass filtering flask
* one 125 mm porcelain buchner funnel
* pack of 12.5 cm qualitative filter paper (100 discs)
* hand vacuum pump w/o gauge (one available with gauge for an additional $10.00)
This is a new hand vacuum pump made of a durable polychloroethylene plastic. This plastic pump can easily provide a vacuum of 25-27in/Hg by pumping its handle. The pumping rate is about 15ml per stroke. By changing its working mode, the pump can be used to establish air pressure as high as approximately 2 atm. The pump itself is sealed and self lubricated. It is often used in conjunction with buchner funnels. It comes with approximately 2 feet of tubing.
Uses of this product are for middle school physical science experiments, vacuum filtering, siphoning, leakage checking, and pumping and indirect transporting of liquids. You could also use this for other applications such as automotive or light air-conditioning work. It is light weight, small volume, easy to carry, and easy to use.
