Raytheon Sorensen Elgar Model DCR 300-1.5b
This power supply has the over voltage protection (OVP) option. This option protects the power supply from external sources of voltage and is wired across the output terminals. You can see it's adjustment pot screw behind the back panel in the center.
It is housed in a 3.5 inch (2U) high, 19 inch wide rackmount chassis and is 19 inch deep. It has Two operational modes, voltage Mode (constant voltage) and Current Mode (constant current). The power supply weighs about 50 pounds and is very well built. It has tape marks, old stickers, scratches, scrapes, rust, corrosion and wear marks as a result of being moved around the lab and into the field for the last 20 plus years. This power supply sold new for over $1500 and is considered to be the top of the line in power supplies.
This power supply was built by Raytheon Company before the Sorensen product line was broken off from Raytheon. Sorensen was eventually purchased by Elgar.
DCR-B Series high power programmable DC power supplies have input SCR pre-regulator topology plus regulation and transient response performance suitable for all test and measurement applications.

Operating Temperature Range: 0 - 70 C, (derate power 1.67%/ C above 40 C)
Remote Programming: Resistance and voltage programming via rear terminal strip.
V/I Crossover: Automatic between voltage and current
Ambient Cooling: Convection cooled
Dimensions: 19"w x 20.25"d; Height - 3.5"
Weight: Maximum: 45 lbs. (22 kg)
