Symbol's MC7004 Handheld Mobile Computer puts the power of a cell phone, PDA, computer, scanner and imager in the palm of your hand with the first truly rugged enterprise digital assistant.
* This model is configured for operation on GSM cellular networks. In the U.S. this will work with AT&T/Cingular, T-Mobile, and other carriers that use SIM cards. Just pop in your SIM card and you will be up and running in no time. It also operates on 850, 900, 1800, and 900 bands for compatibility with GSM networks worldwide.
* The MC7004 is a Quad Band GSM phone which means it works on GSM networks. Here in the U.S., AT&T/Cingular and T-Mobile are the top names that use GSM. The Quad-Band part means it will work with GSM providers all over the world. The phone is also enabled with EDGE/GPRS which is advanced techology for high-bandwidth data communications. Symbol makes a similar model, the MC7095 which is set up for CDMA-EVDO networks such as Verizon, Sprint/Nextel, and US Cellular.
* This unit includes all of the capabilities of the MC7094 except that it does not include wi-fi capability. If you require a model with wi-fi, please see our other listings. This unit has the 2D Barcode Scanner which can scan both regular 1D barcodes as well as 2D barcodes (PDF417). It also has the 44-key (alphanumeric) keyboard, GSM cellular wireless, Bluetooth, and standard capacity battery. The Model Number is MC7004- PKCDJQHA70R. This is functionally equivalent to model MC7004-PKCDJQHA80R except that unit has the extended-capacity battery rather than the standard capacity battery found on this unit. This model is equivalent to the older part numbers without RoHs (lead-free) manufacturing processes (MC7004-PKCDJQHA70WW and MC7004-PKCDJQHA80WW).
* This terminal is in very good cosmetic condition with some signs of previous use such as scuffs and dings on the housings. The touch-screen display is perfect with no scratches or wear because it has had a screen protector installed throughout its life. It has been professionally and thoroughly tested and so is in excellent working condition.
* The terminal comes complete with battery, stylus, and handstrap, USB/charging cable and power supply/line cord.

We have verified that the terminal powers on, boots up normally, passes all self tests, scans barcodes, communicates and charges through the bottom port. One battery is included in the sale. The battery is used but it charges up and holds a charge for an extended period of time, so it should give good service. We will replace the battery if not completely satisfied.
