Lab-line instruments 26103 tissue float bath

Lab-Line Instruments 26103 Tissue Float Bath
For sale- a Lab-Line Instruments 26103 Tissue Float Bath. I don t know why you would want to float tissue, but there appears to be a bit of residual wax in places, so I assume this is related to paraffin embedding. I see the volume listed elsewhere as 2.3 liters and the temperature range ambient to 70 degrees C, but I have confirmed neither. The unit powers up and it heats up, and it appears to be responsive to the thermostatic control. Beyond that there isn t much else it is supposed to do, is there?
I would consider the unit to be in good/used physical condtion, but the finish is starting to show age and wear as I think you can see in the picture. So if this is going to be the showpiece focal point of your lab you should probably find another one. I feel like it is probably functional, and if you pay the asking price (about half of what I see them selling for online) I will allow a return within seven days of receipt if it has a problem. If you make an offer that is accepted it will be with the understanding that you are on your own if it should need repair.
Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab gear, including a Sakura Tissue Tek AutoWrite that was in the same lot, Plus I have a Sakura RSG-61 Slide Stainer listed as well. Check back often!
