This high-tension frame has an easy-to-use adjusting screw requiring minimal turns to tension the blade up to 28,000 p.s.i. (2,000 kgs/cm2). High-tension prevents twisting and binding of the blade when bearing down.
Rugged, yet lightweight frame is made of cast aluminum with an extra thick tubular steel bar for added strength. Blades can be stored in the tube. Furnished with a Starrett Bluestripe bi-metal blade.
RECOMMEND USING ONLY BI-METAL BLADES!
Four permanently angled mounting pins allow for both straight and angle cutting. Throat depth is 4-3/8"
