10.000000 mhz vcxo 5VOLT vc-tcxo K1602TE 28PPM tuning

One 10.00000 MHz CTI K1602TE VCXO 5Volt VC-TCXO 28ppm Tuning

This part is was removed from a NEW circuit board. Leads are trimmed but long enough for perf board.
Some uses include: Phase-Locked Loops clocking "sync" to NTSC Video Standards, Reference Signal, Signal Tracking, GPS-DO etc....
Output is a squarewave, TTL/CMOS compatible, 0-4V range. Supply current drawn is around 40mA at 5V.
The tuning range is +/- 28ppm minimum.
This is a listing for One Oscillator (the picture shows two).
A fellow seller, RFPLUS in Australia did some testing on these units and noted the following:
They are designed for 5V operation, but will work fine on 3.3V with a reduced tuning range. With voltage control applied to pin 1 it will tune around 50ppm, ~+/-500Hz, though the datasheet says only 28ppm. I set the frequency with a multiturn 10K pot strung between the +5V/Gnd rails, and 10.000000MHz is reached at around 2.5V.
This oscillator would make a good basis for a low-cost timebase in a frequency counter. Alternatively it would be very good for use in a GPS disciplined oscillator, where the control voltage on pin 1 is used to correct the frequency.
Thank you to Jon at RFPLUS for sharing his information with me !!
