Skydata was purchased by the Israeli company Gilat.
This unit is set to Receive at 11644 and Transmit at 15044.
The unit powers up, and was marked in working order by the industrial company that surplused it.
Controls from front left: Receive Frequency; Transmit Frequency; Illegal Frequency red caution light; RF drive switch with green indicator light, choice of RST, On, or Off; Local/Remote switch; Red indicator light that reads "On= Sum Fault, Blinking=System Fault.
Controls on back from left: Power on/off switch; 2A fuse; 9 pin female connector under "Alarms"; small four position switch; 9 pin male connector under "RFT"; 9 pin female connector for "remote"; two red LED lights under TXD and RXD.
This is an interesting and well made device. If you know more, I'd like you to fill me in.
How can you go wrong? It probably cost many thousands of dollars when made.
