Diode Design Kit - SMT & Thru-Hole (#1252)
This Diode Design Kit has 279 pieces of 57 different Thyristors, Diodes, Zeners, Detectors, and LEDs. This is a combination of Thru-Hole and SMT parts. This kit includes a SBS (Silicon Bilateral Switch) which is used in trigger, gating, and timing circuits. It is like a single analog switch in a SOT-23 package. Also included is a Sidactor, which is used to protect telecom circuits from hazardous transient voltages. When connected across the tip and ring, Sidactors are the fastest, most stable, most reliable, and cost effective over-voltage protection available (Teccor data sheet).
Included in this kit is a Voltage Detector, which has an Open Drain N-Channel FET output, (4v). It is used to detect the presence of 4v or higher. This is used to signal other devices that 4v is missing and can be used as a trigger for timer circuits or microprocessor resets. Also includes different values of Dual-Switching Diodes, several Signal Switching Diodes and Schottky Power Rectifiers. You also get different Zener Diode values.
