This unit comprises of two pc boards: one with the graphics display ,microprocessor and controls/amplifiers for audio and information(voltages)coming from suitable coupler for Power /V.S.W.R.The graphics display is a bright blue 128X64 display with on board driver(T6963C) of latest generation(-20 to +50 C) On top/middle appears the carrier frequency selected,below it there is a high resolution dot bar display ,where there is a continuous monitoring of mod.level +30 to -5 dBv.Bottom left appears the transmitted power in watts and bottom right the reflected power in watts.The next subunit comprises the frequency carrier unit.PLL IC used is the reputable MC145170 made by Motorola/Freescale.Reference frequency is derived from a high stability 1.5ppm TCXO. Both subunits are interconnected by a ribbon cable and can be instantly disconnected.For the PLL unit,there is a shielding enclosure and it was removed for clarity reasons(it is tested within it and purchased indeed).
