This Bulova pinion cutter requires a table, a lower shelf and 2 small motors. One motor drives the spindle via a belt which comes up thru the machine base casting and the other motor drives the camshaft which activates the whole machine. It activates the table feed and the indexing automatically.
It dates back prior to 1940 because Cosa (the importer) was not able to bring them in during the war.
P.S. We also have available a battery of 5 similar machines all 5 mounted on one original Bulova operating bench - equipped with motors and drives.
