Allen-Bradley 6155 Industrial PLC control computer with IDZUS software
This is an Allen Bradley 6155-RLYHGLCZHZZ industrial computer. Gee whiz is this thing built!
This is used to control PLCs that run industrial processes.
Behind the front cover there is a DVD ROM, FDD, reset, keyboard lock and a big fan.
The label showing the exact model number.
On the back, typical ports, USB, 2 serial, parallel, PS/2, VGA. I plugged a VGA monitor in and a keyboard and mouse and booted it up. It said DH485 Link Layer Initialization error, I looked that up and that is a PLC network protocol. I have no PLCs connected so that makes sense.
It booted into this screen. I clicked several of the buttons on the top and got different displays, even production charts. Neat. When it booted up it knew the date and time immediately. So this seems to be working. It does complain that it's touchscreen is NOT OK. No kidding, I don't have one. It also goes through all it's PLCs it's supposed to be controlling and says they are also NOT OK. They aren't here either.
Settings. I have no idea how this is supposed to work.
A diagram of some printing process. This might be involved in controlling printing and packaging applications. But I am no expert.
This seems to work ok, it complains that the factory it was controlling is not connected, which it's not. This is straight from corporate America, taken out at the end of a lease. But it seems to work just fine and it has some proprietary windows based automation software on it which seems to support touchscreens, mice, etc. It says it's version 58, it might be called IDZUS58. It might be made by CUIR. Some of it is in French.
The manufacturer's site is HERE.
I am selling this as removed from service, and I am only selling the hardware, which is a very nice Allen Bradley industrial computer in a heavy metal case. It does have some windows based factory automation software on it. We don't sell software, but I am telling you it's there.
This machine is being sold with a 5 day NON-DOA warranty, but it's not DOA, I tested it thoroughly. It works. Naturally if you want to use this for a factory automation application you'd need lots more stuff, but if you have read this far you probably know lots more about it than I do.
I have no passwords so none are included. But I had access to the entire windows system while testing.
