Mini atmel xmega/atxmega development/evaluation board

This is an evaluation board for the new Atmel AVR XMEGA microcontroller family. It comes with an Atmel ATXMEGA32A4 TQFP-44 8/16 bit Microcontroller, on board 3.3V voltage regulator (requires 5V DC), internal calibrated 32MHz RC Oscillator, PDI ISP programming interfaces and standard 0.1in spacing pin header connectors for interfacing. 3.3V VCC brought out to 0.1in connector allowing direct power input from breadboard. There is a user red SMT LED on PORTD:0. There are landings for an optional SOT-23 shunt voltage reference on PORTA:0 (for precision ADC applications) and a landing for an optional HC49/US Crystal. The board includes 3 mounting holes and measures 1.8x1.0in (47x25mm).
There is no serial bootloader feature on this device. To program you will need an Atmel AVRISP mkII or JTAGICE mkII device with the latest firmware update to support this chip. See the following doc for more information: http:// /dyn/resources/prod_documents/doc8169.pdf
* 32 KB of In-System Self-Programmable Flash
