These fillers are supplied as a set of light; medium, or dark to enable the end user to get a reasonable match to their substrate in order to hide any blemish. They should always be used at least 2 at a time as a blend to create a good base colour as close to the original as possible.
This the darkest 4 in the range that should be used to try to create a bit of 'colour movement' by replicating the grain through in woods such as repro mahogany/dark oak/walnut/ebony, in fact any dark wood, these fillers will work on, even a dark pine.

This set of 4 hardwax sticks are approx, 8 cms long and should give a good range of colours to aid repairing many different pieces of furniture around the house. We also sell a set of 8 softwaxes, that can be sued and mixed with the 4 set of hardwaxes to re create that perfect colour match, this is why having more colours is helpful when trying to make a repair invisible. The 4 colours have been selected from the range to give a good mix of the colours found in everyday furniture.
