This filter is NOS from an instrument manufacturer. The filter separates a band of Deep Blue, by reflecting it at right angles to the incidence light, while transmitting nearly all of the Cyan Green and Red.
The filter makes a very good epi-illuminator of Blue excitation (such as Q Dots), onto a sample, where the emitted light is retro-transmitted through this filter.
filter specifications follow: Reflection band 400 to 470 with average of 95%, Transmission band 490 to 750 nm with an average of > 85%, Size 22 mm, 1MM THICK Substate material is borosilicate glass. Original cost $110.
