The activated carbon matrix in the S & S Extractor System has been specially formulated to rapidly remove ethidium bromide from gel staining solutions. Because of its large surface area and superior adsorptive properties, the Extractor System removes more than 99% of the EtBr in one liter of electrophoretic buffer in approximately one minute. Each Extractor is reusable up to 10 liters. Polypropylene housing is chemically resistant for use with organic solutions.
