Baldor s IEEE Std 841 premium efficiency motors perform under the toughest conditions, while delivering the industry s highest energy savings.
We recently upgraded these motors to exceed IEEE Std 841-1994 standards. All motors feature Baldor s Super-E premium efficiency designs, including ISR magnet wire. We ve added an Inpro/SealTM at both the drive and fan ends to provide an additional measure of protection.
Baldor s IEEE Std 841 motors are available from stock, 1 to 250 HP in 2, 4, and 6 pole designs, 460 volt. Other voltages and speeds through 500 HP can be built with Baldor s short 3-week lead time.
* Super-E premium efficiency windings provide energy savings, cool operation, and long life.
* Class F insulation system with ISR magnet wire, epoxy varnish with 100% solids and phase insulation.
* Inverter-Ready. Meets high voltage spike requirements of NEMA MG1-1998 Part 31.4.4.2.
* Rugged cast iron frame, endplates, conduit box, and fan cover.
* Mounting base is precision machined for flatness. Motor shaft tolerances are better than NEMA.
* Precision balanced for low vibration - less than half of NEMA standards.
* Sound power levels <90dBA.
* Low bearing temperature rise <40 C rise. (<50 C on 2 poles).
* Corrosion-resistant 2-part zinc chromate epoxy primer inside and out plus a 2-part epoxy finish coat.
* All joints gasketed and sealed for added protection. Automatic breather drains to eliminate condensation.
* Inpro/SealTM bearing isolators at both the drive and fan end ensure protection from contamination.
* Grease fittings and reliefs at both ends make lubrication maintenance easy.
* Exxon POLYREX EM grease provides better lubrication at high temperatures and has a special additive that resists washout, rust and corrosion, even when exposed to salt water conditions.
