The breed was developed by Sir John Sebright in the early 1800s .
Sebright bantams are among the most beautiful birds in the world of poultry in both their varieties.
The Golden Sebright is a golden bay bird with black laced feathers.
Roosters average a petite 26 ounces while the hens average 22 ounces..
These tiny little birds have a rose comb and the males are hen-feathered as per the standard....having no pointed sex feathers in the hackle...
There is no standard version of the Sebright..they are a true Bantam
Ours are truly lovely and from quality lines..
Golden Sebrights are exceptionally gentle as well as hardy and are such a joy to own....
