3/8" npt bronze basket strainer/filter
Staple & Pfeiffer Bronze Basket Strainer, 3/8" NPT fittings. Installs in-line to filter fluid and protect equipment downline. Inside is a fine mesh wire basket which is easily removed for cleaning. Approx. 4 3/4" high by 4" wide by 2 1/4" thick. Removed from service in equipment which used distilled water to cool high power radio transmitting tubes, in good condition. From the manufacturer's description:
Simplex strainers are used to remove damaging debris from liquid flow
that can be interrupted for cleaning baskets, in batch process etc. Our
baskets are designed for an open area straining ratio of at least 6:1,
which means less operating costs to clean the baskets. Our heavy duty
wall thickness show over time lower life cycle costs of replacement.
