We picked up a bunch of the "nails" used in "bed-of-nails" ATE
testing and can offer them in economical and convenient small
automatic test equipment ATE system.
Brands are typically Giese International or similar. They appear to
be unused, super clean, and apparently in "as new" condition. Length is 3.75
inch, and there is a retaining crimp near one end. Ends are typically
flattened conical. You have your choice of .022 inch, .031 inch,
.039 inch, or .051 inch diameters. Standard uninsulated, nickel
These pins are normally used to translate between your custom
circuit positions and standard spacing on your test device. They
typically allow up to 0.4 inches of lateral adjustment. Easily
matching just about any printed circuit or terminal pattern. Works
equally well for SMT or thru-hole.
In typical use, there will be three insulating panels. The bottom panel will
be spaced to match the sockets on your ATE tester or measurement
setup. The mid panel will have holes only large enough to freely pass
the pin but not the crimp. This keeps your pins from falling out. The
top panel will have holes that guide your exact test positions.
