ER90S-B3 is a low alloy wire used to weld 2 % Chromium, 1%
Molybdenum low alloy steels. ER90S-B3 produces quality welds on
pressure piping or boiler work. Depending on the hardening characteristics
of the base metal, pre-heating from 400 F - 650 F, control of interpass
temperatures and post heating at 1,250 F - 1,350 F for 1 hour is required.
Typical applications include pressure piping in steam power generating
plants, boiler and heat-exchanger tubes, chemical and petrochemical
