Nice 1960 s Lathe from original owner s estate.
This is a nice, heavy 7 x 18 capacity (around 150 lbs) steel bed Lathe. These early Sears Lathes are solid and accurate. They feature all metal drive gears and adjustment knobs. They blow away the current Chinese import Lathes that are available.
This is a one owner machine, bought new and lightly used by a hobbyist until his death last year. It shows some surface rust and worn paint, but mechanically it is strong and accurate. This is absolutely nothing about this Lathe that needs to be repaired. (Note - there is a small grinding gouge, only cosmetic, by headstock). I originally bought this machine to paint and restore cosmetically. With a little work, you could have alike new machine. It just needs paint.
Everything is here to start using this machine - Full set of 9 Change Gears and chart, Power Feed works flawlessly and HP capacitor start reversible motor provides lots of power to the spindle.
