Since its initial market introduction in 1999, the Acugauge 521G Backflow Test Kit has been the reliable alternative to the Watts TK-99E , both of which are based on the same time proven principles for low differential pressure measurement. Both backflow differential pressure gauges have similar specifications and mounting dimensions. But the similarities stop here. The new Acugauge 521G backflow certification and testing kit has been optimized at the critical 5-2-1 PSID pressure points in accordance with the standards set forth by both the AWWA and the USC for faster, more accurate test results. No wonder the 521G is the preferred backflow testing kit of professional backflow testers.
The Acugauge 521G Backflow Test Kit is a 3 valve kit engineered and designed by fellow veteran backflow testers for field testing the following in-line backflow preventer assemblies:
Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB)
Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker (AVB)
Spill-resistant Pressure Vacuum Breaker (SPVB)
Large 41/2" diameter, easy-to-read Differential Pressure Gauge optimized at the critical 5-2-1 PSID pressure points for faster more accurate testing; scale: 0 -15 PSID
(2) Instrument-grade shut-off ball valves - one on high pressure side and one on vent hose
(1) Precision, ergonomic needle valve on low pressure side of gauge, specifically callibrated to work on backflow testing equipment
Adapters: (3) 1 4" x flare adapters for use on smaller backflow assemblies
Adapters: (3) 1 2" x 1 4" adapters for use on mid-size backflow assemblies
Adapters: (3) 3 4" x 1 4" adapters for use on the largest backflow assemblies
Test Hoses: (3) 1/4" x 36" Soft Magic brand flexible high-performance test hoses with female-threaded swivel couplings for easy on and off backflow preventer assemblies; large, knurled hose nut for easy finger tightening that lets you work in tight places - no tools required; each hose includes one straight end and one 90 degree swivel coupling.
Tradesman extra sturdy, multi-function, 15 pocket bag for carrying backflow test kit and other tools and accessories, such as, screwdrivers, wrenches, teflon tape, adapters, valve tags, test reports, and other miscellaneous tools.
