Other Tubelox (registered trademark ) type scaffold ratchets will not fit over the threaded portion of the Dual Size scaffold clamp / coupler bolt when used on smaller diameter scaffold poles.
The Scaffold Pro 2 ratchet is designed for working with all newer Dual Size size scaffold coupler / clamps. The hardened steel hammer tip is used to bump scaffold poles into correct position without damage to the ratchet. All screws and pins are peened on the end to prevent loosening, but can be filed to facilitate replacement if ever needed.
